Trixi Bannert becomes honorary president in 2026

For more than 20 years, the name Trixi Bannert evokes passion, expertise and empowerment in the world of wine. As a certified wine consultant and sommelier by the IHK (the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce), she combines in-depth technical knowledge with an entrepreneurial vision. In Münster, alongside her thriving wine business, she also runs a renowned cooking and wine school, which has long been a popular meeting place for gourmets.
Thanks to her talent for organisation, she runs an event agency, works closely with Münster's leading caterers and is responsible for some of the biggest wine events in the region. She also hosts tasting menus and has a unique ability to bring wine to life and always aims to bring people together through the pleasures of taste.
Her career is marked by commitment and responsibility that extend far beyond the wine sector. In March 2024, she became the first president of Vinissima Frauen & Wein e.V., Germany's leading network for women working in the wine industry. With some 700 members, Vinissima brings together women experts in various fields, from winemakers to scientists.
And that's not all: Trixi Bannert is also president and founder of the charity Münstarity e.V., which helps underprivileged children.
Her economic activity is just as rich: she is a member of the IHK regional assembly, the Trade Commission and the Frauen(u)Unternehmen network, which brings together female entrepreneurs in the Münster region. In December 2025, her exceptional commitment was acknowledged by the mayor of Münster, who awarded her the ‘Münster-Nadel’, a distinction that honours exemplary civic engagement.
